Over the years, many of my new clients have been referrals from past clients. I love that my wonderful clients loved their session with me enough to tell others about me. Nothing means more to me when clients trust me enough to encourage other to be photographed by me.
In 2018, I am starting a client referral program, it’s my little way of saying thank you to all of my wonderful clients over the years.
Refer a new client to Allegiant Farm Photography and earn $25 towards your next session. The person mentioning your name will get $25 off their session too! It’s a total win – win.
Referral credits are eligible to any past client of mine.
Here are the details:
- Any past client is eligible for the referral program
- Referral credits can be used on new sessions, prints or products.
- The referral program starts January 1, 2018, and is not retroactive.
- There is no cap on the amount of credits you can earn or use! Referral as many people as you want, and use multiple referral credits at one time.
- You are credited for a referral when the person you referred has paid for their session. When your referral books their session, have them mention your name to earn your credit.
- Referral credits hold no cash value and cannot be transferred. I will notify you by email when you have earned a referral credit, and it will be noted in my database.

I'd like to share something with you all. This photo was taken 3 years ago, it hangs on the wall in our home and is the wallpaper on my computer - I must look at it at least a dozen times a day and each time I smile and remember that day, that special moment.
It's the best Mother's Day gifts I have received, and it will continue to give me smiles and memories every day.

Wishing sweet Allison a happy first birthday was a big deal, just one year ago this little girl was wrapped up in a much smaller tutu for her newborn photos - I love to see these babies grow! We had some sketchy weather on the morning our photos were planned, but thankfully the rain held off and we were able to complete our natural light session outdoors as planned. View this sweet video of a Natural Light Newborn session and see for yourself!
Newborns are photographed in my Natural Light studio in my home between 5 and 12 days new, I also offer outdoor photos if the weather allows. This session we were blessed with a wonderful day and were able to get some great outdoor shots for Dad who loves old tractors. I allow 2-3 hours for each newborn session, depending on how your baby sleeps really determines how long it will take, this particular session took approximately 2 hours. I like to take my time with your sweet blessing, keeping them warm and comfortable as they drift off to sleep, this also allows Mom to take some time to relax, read a book, catch up on emails, or just sit and watch. Once your baby is asleep and comfy then we play, I offer a variety of wraps, baskets, nests, hats, headbands and more! If you have something special you'd like to have in your baby's photographs I encourage you to bring it along. During our pre session consult I like to hear from parents what they like as well as dislike, favorite colors and ideas you may have for your newborn photos. My goal is to capture your greatest love and all their sweet newness, leaving you with photographs you will cherish forever.

To explain this a little better, below is a quick Cropping Guide where I have taken the same photo and shown the different aspect ratios/sizes and how it looks when cropped. The first photo is the size straight out of the camera, this is what you see of your high resolution photos you have purchased from me.
When printing your photos I highly recommend printing with http://www.unitprints.com as opposed to any 1 hour lab. Above all they offer a much higher quality - a very color correct print, as well as offering many more options in finishes, mounting and even gallery wrap canvas. They also have album sharing so you can share with family and friends, which makes sharing and ordering as easy as a few clicks!! The best part is their printing is very affordable.

Guess whats in the basket??
He was very patient with the Chicks, he really wants to hold them, but doesn't like how their feet feet in his hands!
Now that we've finished with the ducks and chicks - onto the Easter basket.
Very quickly realizing that I put m&m's in some of the eggs!
I got him to stop tearing open the eggs for just a second to take a look at me!

Bubbles!! - I had to use something to keep him still!!
He really made me work today, chasing him around with a camera is much easier, but we had a lot of fun!!
I love this adorable little man more than words can say!
This baby goat was so cuddly, I could have held him all day long!
Oh, and this lamb, so sweet!!
But his mama was calling him - he had to go!

I've finally completed my 2013 Session Guide, this guide includes all the information you'll need to have a wonderful Photo Session this year. It includes what to expect from your session, styling ideas, new Wall Collection offerings, new Print Collections and print pricing.
I have made a few changes about how you can order your finished products, whether it be a high resolution CD or a Wall or Print Collection. As always, you still have a choice of either ordering a cd with your images or ordering prints. I now have a nice selection of Wall and Print Collections to help show off your greatest loves.
My hope in offering Wall Collections is to help make sure your photos make it to being displayed, rather than sitting on a cd that no one will ever see. Its nice to have them, but why not show off your familyfor all to see? Wall Collections start at $135 for a beautiful display sure to get the attention of all who enter your home.
The Print Collections offer a savings of ordering individual prints for those of you who like to share your greatest loves with family and friends. The Print Collections also include larger prints to be displayed in your home and the infamous Storybook Collage. The Print Collections range from $65 up to $165. And of course individual prints are also available.

2012 was a wonderful start for Allegiant Farm Photography, I couldn't have asked for better! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing each and every person that stepped in front of my lens! I cannot wait to make 2013 even better!!
I'm working on some new pricing, and photo packages. A lot of people have told me that they want to have some larger showcase prints in their home, but are not sure what to print and how to arrange them. I will be offering packages that range from large wall clusters that will fill up your living room walls, all the way down to a simple photo package to share with your family. A high resolution cd will still be available to those of you who still wish to do it yourself, don't worry!

Young and old, they were all mesmerized
by the man in the Red Suit
and the stories that he had to tell.
Stories were told, cookies were eaten and the list was checked, and checked again!
Some were quite surprised by who made the Nice List and who made the Naughty List!!
All in all the children thoroughly enjoyed their time with his Jolly Ole self!
Now for the finished products: The Storybook Collage is by far the most popular, telling the story of meeting Santa Claus and all the fun that was had - An afternoon that your children will not soon forget.
I too thoroughly enjoyed myself, I still am laughing and reminiscing as I look over and order photos. I would love to hear what your children have to say about their meeting with the man in red. ]]>What to wear to meet The Man in Red
Several people have asked what to dress their children in when they come to meet Santa Claus. Here are a few tips to help take away the stress of finding the perfect outfits to meet The Man in Red!
First: Pick your style:
* Dressy – Break out the fancy Christmas dress or suit a little early!
* Casual – Sweaters and jeans are perfect for a nice afternoon story with Santa!
* P.j.’s – Every kid needs new Christmas Pajamas, why not meet Santa in your p.j.’s nice and cuddly and comfy to meet the big guy in!
Next: Coordinate:
* Colors: To avoid looking too “matchy” try to have a mix of at least three colors. Start with a base of at least one neutral color (white, chocolate brown, gray) and add color from there. That way, you will still coordinate even with a lot of different colors in your photo. Also, there is nothing wrong with some pattern or even a lot of patterns in your clothing.
* Layers: The more layers you have the more texture and interest it will add to your pictures. For great examples of how to layer, check the The Childrens Place: http://www.childrensplace.com.

This afternoon Joseph and I worked on our Holiday Lights Backdrop for our Christmas Special this weekend. Here's a few shots from our mock setup.....working with a one year old is very fast paced.....he's faster than I can believe sometimes!! But he is a lot of help too!
