You may have had some of your photos printed only to realize that a crucial part of the photo is cut off, or it looks different than on your screen.  This could be due to differing aspect ratios, my camera takes photos at a 2:3 aspect ratio - the equivalence of a 4x6 photo, whereas an 8x10 has an aspect ratio of 5:4.  Which will cause the need to crop your photo.

To explain this a little better, below is a quick Cropping Guide where I have taken the same photo and shown the different aspect ratios/sizes  and how it looks when cropped.  The first photo is the size straight out of the camera, this is what you see of your high resolution photos you have purchased from me.

When printing your photos I highly recommend printing with http://www.unitprints.com as opposed to any 1 hour lab.  Above all they offer a much higher quality - a very color correct print, as well as offering many more options in finishes, mounting and even gallery wrap canvas.  They also have album sharing so you can share with family and friends, which makes sharing and ordering as easy as a few clicks!!  The best part is their printing is very affordable.

Happy Printing -
